Sister Act
Sister Act the Musical is based on the 1992 Golden Globe nominated film, and produced by Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost, the Colour Purple, Lion King) and is now showing at the London Palladium Theatre.
Deloris Van Cartier (Patina Miller) finds herself living in a convent when she witnesses a murder and is put under protective custody by the police. Now disguised as a Nun, disco diva Deloris struggles to fit in with the strict rules of life in the convent under the supervision of Mother Superior (Sheila Hancock). She joins the choir and shakes it up by using her talent of singing and dancing - rejuvenating the church community. Her high profile from her successes within the local community results in her cover being blown. The criminal gang, now after Deloris to get their revenge, come up against the new found power of the "Sister Hood".
