Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat returns!

With a crash of drums and a flash of light Joseph and his coat of many colours returns to dazzle and delight London audiences once again this summer. In a new staging of the record breaking 1990s London Palladium Joseph musical, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's family classic is poised to please a whole new generation with its score of wall-to-wall hits including Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do.

The Story of Joseph
Based on the bible story from Genesis, the Joseph musical tells how dreamer Joseph, given a coat of many colours by his doting father, is cast out of the family and sold as a slave by his jealous brothers.

Making his way in Egypt doesn't prove an easy path for Joseph but he survives slavery and being thrown in jail, and comes into his own as a dream interpreter for the troubled pharaoh. When Joseph forecasts seven years of famine, the pharaoh is so impressed, he appoints him to his second in command. In his position of power he receives a visit from his brothers, who come to plead for food, having been caught in the famine. Joseph finds they have changed for the better and reveals his true identity and the whole family is happily and fabulously reunited in song.
