Calendar Girls
The Calendar Girls show is currently playing at the Noel Coward Theatre until 23rd January 2010. Tim Firth has adapted his original script to suit the new cast in the Calendar Girls London play, (recently a popular British screenplay starring Dame Helen Mirren and Julie Walters).
Members of the new cast will include former Eastenders cast members; Jill Halfpenny, June Brown and Anita Dobson from July. Former model and actress Jerry Hall and ex-hollyoaks cast member Gemma Atkinson will also star.

Based on a true story, Calendar Girls play is a comedy, based in Yorkshire. A group of Women's Institute members decide to raise money for charity after one of them loses their husband to cancer- by creating a risqué calendar featuring themselves, and unveil more than intended and creating global interest.
The shows producers will be donating the £1.50 booking fee, royalties and funds for all Calendar Girls tickets to raise money for Leukaemia research, the same charity as the original Calendar Girls did.
