Al fresco dining is traditionally a European experience but the Radisson Edwardian Free Trade Hall in Manchester is opening up its doors so guests can enjoy those long summer days and evenings even more with the launch of a new menu and terrace dining in the bright and airy Alto Restaurant.
 
With ceiling to floor windows and a new terrace for al fresco dining, Alto Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy some summer specialities with a glass of your favourite Sauvingnon Blanc or Rosé.

The new menu compliments the tone of Alto Restaurant and Terrace and diners can choose from a selection of light meals such as Tuna, Olive and Potato Salad with a Basil Dressing, or a Duck Stir fry, Oyster sauce, crunchy vegetables and noodles, to fulfilling speciality sandwiches such as, Lamb and coriander burger, served with a floured bap and mint yoghurt, or the classic Scottish rib eye steak and mushroom baguette with wholegrain mustard.

For those with more of an appetite, the Chef's specials board changes regularly to reflect the season's freshest produce and main dishes include the Platter of Shellfish (freshly caught) and Pan-fried veal escalope in bread crumbs, served with lemon and caper mayonnaise.  Each dish featured in Alto Restaurant is a celebration of the finest summer foods and is thoughtfully created by the hotel's Head Chef, David Sharp.

So, now all that is left to do is order a drink and sit back and enjoy the summer al fresco style.
