O2 Arena

The O2 Arena, formerly known as The Millenium Dome, is a music and conference venue in Greenwich. This iconic building, with its great dome shape and gigantic steel masts, is both a London landmark and a world class entertainment destination.

The O2 Arena is London's first purpose-built music venue since the Royal Albert Hall in 1871. It contains a live music club (indigO2), an eleven screen multiplex cinema, an exhibition centre (the O2 Bubble), a street of bars, restaurants, and leisure attractions (Entertainment Avenue) and the O2 Arena.

The O2 Arena has played host to a range of music legends including Prince, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Barbra Streisand, and Andrea Bocelli. It also hosts sporting events such as Turbo Tennis and will be a venue for the London 2012 Olympics.

The closest tube station for the O2 Arena is North Greenwich. If you'd prefer to travel by boat, you can also catch a Thames Clipper to the O2 from Waterloo Pier (30 minutes) or London Bridge Pier (20 minutes).
